As part of their 155th Anniversary Macy's is celebrating America with their nationwide American Icons campaign. On Tuesday, June 25 beginning at 6p Macy's will be hosting
"Macy's Great American Drive-In" at the Florida Mall location. The event celebrates the 80th Anniversary of the Drive-In Theater.
The pop up drive-in theater will have a free screening of "The Smurfs" at dusk and will include a sneak peek at "Smurfs 2" that comes outs on July 31, 2013. The event will feature a carnival style environment with plenty of yummy treats, giveaways, and music.
Plus if you shop the Macy’s kids’ department on Tuesday and purchase $40 or more in children’s apparel you'll receive a Macy's Drive-In lawn chair souvenir to watch the film.
The movie will be broadcast over local FM frequency for enjoyment from the car. Rain date is July 6, 2013. *Space is limited; entry will close once capacity is reached so get there early.
