Come out With Pride® 2013 has released some details about its upcoming event October 1-6. Here are the ones that caught our eye:
Pride at Halloween Horror Nights: Nights: special ticket prices and incentives, Pride goers will invade the studios for a night of fun and horror. 1,000+ attendees are expected to wear purple shirts to celebrate Pride week.
The theme is "Pride takes Center Stage."
October 1: Director John Waters will do his stand-up act and a VIP Meet & Greet
September 30 - October 5, 2013: The GLBT History Museum will be on display in the City Hall Rotunda
Something for the kids: in partnership with Orlando Gay Parents, there will be a family night (date TBA) and, on Pride Day at lake Eola, there will be a kids zone.
October 1-6: Church Street Festival by Hamburger Mary’s and Church Street Station
October 3: Opening Ceremony inside the Church Street Station

October 5: Be the Change 5K at 7am. The finish line will be at Lake Eola.
4pm: The parade will include up to 3 show stops to allow Macy’s, Parliament House and Hope & Help to stop the parade perform and continue on. Think Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
Pride day hours stretch til 10pm for certain areas.
A dance floor will be installed on the Washington Plaza area by the stage
The VIP area will be inside an air-conditioned tent. VIPs get free Bahama Breeze food and a preferred spot to watch the stage shows and fireworks.
The fireworks returns for a third year.
Commitment ceremony stage returns for a second year. The ceremony will be officiated by City of Orlando Commissioner Patty Sheehan.
October 5: Dinner & Fireworks event gets a second chance at Lake Eola.
