Voice of Ariel, Jodi Benson, and Voice of Ursula, Pat Carroll, Get Excited About New Little Mermaid Additions to Disney World

Tony Award winning actress Jodi Benson is best known for her role as Ariel in The Little Mermaid movies, animated TV series and the ride. (Fast fact: this is very rare for the voice in the film to be used in the theme park ride.) In May 2013, Benson was one of several celebrities to stop by the Art of Animation Resort at Walt Disney World during its first anniversary.

In a special ceremony, Benson signed a panel hanging from the main chandelier inside the lobby. The panels feature characters and landscapes from the four films the hotel celebrates.
In other Little Mermaid news, Pat Carroll, who voiced Ursula in The Little Mermaid, visited Magic Kingdom recently to see the character come to life in the new attraction, Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid.
