Make sure not to eat too much at The Daily City® Food Truck Bazaar September 13th! The next morning is the Autumn Rock N' Run 5K.
This is the 2nd race in the Track Shack Running Series, but the most unique. The "run" part is pretty normal. Beginning at Lake Concord Park (95 Triplet Lake Dr, Casselberry), the race winds through the tree-lined residential streets and passes many of the smaller lakes in Casselberry.
The "rock" part is creative. Along the racing path, runners will see bands set up at stations. They will be playing live and competing in a "battle of the Bands." There's $700 in prize money up for grabs for the top three bands. The winning bands are voted on by the runners.
After the race, Orlando Brewing will be on hand with a free beer for each of the runners.
