Blue Bird Bake Shop, Audubon Park's amazing little bakery, has a full calendar this month: 

• Ends July 13: Nothing says Florida like some Christmas in July action. From now till July 13th, Blue Bird Bake Shop has its Holiday cupcake flavors including Peppermint Bark, Gingerbread, Pumpkin and Chocolate Rum Ball. One flavor per day. They'll also have Pumpkin Scones and Pumpkin, White Chocolate Chip & Pecan Muffins. 
• July 14: The bake shop will host a book release (free mini cupcakes for kids!) with local author Ethan Long.  Long will be reading his latest book, Chamelia and the New Kid in Class, at 12:30pm. Blue Bird Bake Shop's cupcakes are mentioned in the book. Long will be signing books and sketching the main character, Chamelia. (Please note that while Long will be signing books they will not be for sale at the event itself).
• July 27: Blue Bird Bake Shop's 3rd Anniversary! Check out our review from opening day three years ago.  The shop will be celebrating 7am-5pm with two new cupcake flavors, new brownies and new cookies.  All cupcakes are $2 and gveaways are planned throughout the day.
