In May, I told you about the construction of Buena Vista Commons on S. Apopka-Vineland Road just beside the Maa Durga Sai Baba Temple.
Back then, I said the building going up at the time was only phase 1 of what would eventually be a five building complex. Recent documents posted on SJWMD's website show that the next four buildings are now moving forward.
A permit revision allowing for a slight re-configuration of the site was approved on July 11, allowing for construction to begin on the four Phase 2 buildings. The documents also said the playground area for the daycare center will be going on the southern end of the property.
Along with the daycare center, a dentist and a medical office have expressed interest in the development. There is one small stand-alone restaurant space also in the development, though no word on a tenant has been shared.
Phase 1, which is currently under construction, saw one 8,800 sq ft building. Phase 2 will add another 35,666 sq ft of space added with the largest of the four buildings coming in at 13,918 sq ft.

The day care with its outdoor play area can be seen at the bottom, the stand alone restaurant space is at the top in the middle. A 50ft wildlife buffer is between the development and the exisiting residential area, the dry retention pond is also found on this side of Buena Vista Commons Phase 2
