Maker Saturday: Pinball, 3D Printers and Iron Man

During the monthly Maker Saturday event on Saturday, July 13, 2013, 11am-4pm, at Orlando Science Centerthe theme is "Maker Gaming" and the activities include: 
  • GameWarp, Orlando's Arcade Pinball and Console Show, will show off a number of their items while teaching the mechanics of a pinball machine.
  • FamiLAB wil; have a display and corresponding workshop focused on 3D printers.
  • Ted Wahrburg, of FamiLAB, will show off his retro-tastic recreation of the 1958 “Tennis for Two” played on an oscilloscope along with his Raspberry Pi powered "Super Nintendo Emulated System."
  • She Silverman, local author, will demo PiMAME; a pre-built Raspberry Pi OS designed exclusively for gaming and emulation.
  • 5:30pm Iron man Meet and Greet
  • 7:50pm Iron Man screening
All activities are included in the regular Orlando Science Center admission ($19 for adults, $13 for youth). The center is located at 777 E Princeton St Orlando, FL 32803.
