Orlando ranked #1 for pop music purchases and #3 in consumption overall according to Amazon 's recent list called Top 20 "Cities That Rock." Based on Amazon music sales data compiled using Amazon MP3, CD, and vinyl purchases between April 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013, the list shows data for the 100 most populous cities.
The number one city that "rocks" according to Amazon is Miami. No other Florida cities broke the top 20 list. Miami also topped the list for Latin, Dance, Heavy Metal, and Children's music categories.
