The 21st Annual CANSTRUCTION® (web | facebook) event is back! A team of Central Florida architects, engineers, contractors design and build structures made entirely from 3,000 cans of food. The structures range from skyscrapers to teddy bears and can be seen at Orlando Fashion Square Mall (3201 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32803) near the entrance of Panera and Sears Oct. 19 through Sunday, Oct. 26

At the close of the exhibit, all of the food products used in the designs will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida for distribution to pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior programs and low-income daycares.

Top local architects, engineers, contractors and designers along with corporations, schools and organizations will be designing and building spectacular works of art, approximately 8’x8’x8’, made entirely from canned and nonperishable foods.
