Central Florida Fairgrounds has a project in the works, dubbed "Orlando Amphitheater." According to the flyover video, the area fronting the lake behind the fairgrounds would be layered with a large modern wooden dock, one small outdoor stage and one large stage, with centrally-placed tents for possible food and merchandise sales.
The proposed design swaps the swampy green field for a more refined urban public gathering space.
