Crescent Lucerne to Bring Downtown Orlando a Grocery Store, Restaurant, Retail and Residences

The first phase of Crescent Lucerne, a new 5.8 acre development at the corner of S. Orange Ave. and W. Gore St. in downtown Orlando will include the following:
  1. 24,000 sq. ft. grocery store
  2. 3,500 sq. ft. light retail
  3. 3,500 sq. ft. restaurant
  4. two five-story residential buildings (373 units and 90 units)
  5. 696 parking spaces within two parking garages
This project is tentatively scheduled for a public hearing at the Municipal Planning Board on November 17th.

The second phase will include a high rise, retail and parking deck.

The applicant, Crescent Communities, is based in Charlotte, NC. It's assets exceed $1 billion, including 70,000 acres of land.

Locally, they're responsible for Crescent Central Station in downtown Orlando, Altamonte Gateway in Maitland, Oakland Park, New Century in Lake Mary and Crescent at Primera.
