An Orlando Ben & Jerrys ice cream food truck is about to be a thing here soon! The company is encouraging all franchises to get their own trucks for catering and events and the Orlando franchise is following suit. No official truck launch date has been set yet, but it will officially be launching at the Orlando location of The Daily City's Food Truck Tour.
The truck will offer ice cream, sorbet and non-dairy ice cream. 12 flavors will be up for grabs. Guests may purchase cups, cones, freshly baked waffle cones, milkshakes and pint slices. They're still deciding if they're going to be selling baked goods and smoothies or not.
The ice cream truck's design isn’t set in stone yet the local franchise tells us, but we should be expecting an Orlando-centric mural on the it. The design will definitely include nods to Rollins and UCF. Despite Ben & Jerrys being an international company, every franchise is considered a local business and the Orlando franchisee wants the truck to reflect Orlando as much as possible.
