Build Something for Art in Odd Places in Downtown Orlando


Orlando's outdoor performing & visual installation festival Art in Odd Places (Facebook) is back for its 3rd year November 10-12 in downtown Orlando and has announced an open call for anyone wishing to participate. The theme this year is noise. Proposed projects should "actively engage and/or collaborate with the public in public spaces." Submissions are due Friday, June 10, midnight EST. Read More Here.

Submissions may include – but are not limited to – ideas of visual/installation, performance, time-based media, virtual/gaming work, online-IRL hybrids, acting, activities, celebration, charades, competition, dance, drama, exercise, frivolousness, fun, game(s), imagination, instrumentation, leeway, leisure, maneuvers, music, participation, performance, portrayal, practice, randomness, rehearsal, silliness, spontaneity, sport, stage, and theater.
