The Paintings of Sir Anthony Hopkins
November 9 to December 31, 2007
Millenia Fine Art

I got an update on the exact location of this exhibit from a friend:
"Actually, the paintings are at the Millenia Gallery, which used to be next to the mall but is now in Maitland (west of I-4 and south of Kennedy Boulevard, on Lake Destiny Drive). He's had some paintings there for a while, so maybe this new exhibit is because they're getting more."
I knew he could act, but did you know he could paint...and wanted to show Orlando that he could paint...at Millenia Mall? The press release doesn't say if the paintings are for sale, though. I wonder.
"Twenty-five canvases by Sir Anthony will make up the next exhibit...the first exhibit of the Artist’s work ever shown in Florida. One year ago, Sir Anthony’s paintings were unveiled as part of a fund-raising event for the San Antonio Library. Much of the money raised from the sale of his work has gone to the Library’s “Born to Read” program, a bi-lingual program for teenage mothers, investing in reading as an important part of early childhood development."

Sir Anthony: "'I don’t care about criticism or rules, because I don’t know the rules. Henry Miller says, ‘Paint what you like and die happy.’”
Sir Anthony: painter and anarchist. Love it.
