Orlando Turkish Festival 2010

The 1st Annual Orlando Turkish Festival is Sunday April 25, 2010 12-7pm at Lake Eola Park in Orlando Downtown.
We are very pleased to share our culture and heritage with you and we cordially invite you to our 1st Orlando Turkish Festival. We are truly excited; it will be the largest Turkish festival in the Central Florida. The mission of the festival is to display the Turkish cultures with all its aspects, to inform and entertain the attendants and children, and serve as a scientific, artistic, and cultural resource.

Orlando Turkish Festival will have broad contents such as; displays, artworks, craft works, books, pictures time, Turkish folk dances, Turkish live music, Whirling dervish show, rockwall adventures, kid's moonwalks, kid's face painting, and more. Experience a unique tradition and it's a chance to visit Turkey and experience authentic Turkish lifestyle here in Central Florida.

Orlando Turkish Festival will have many varieties of drinks and dishes from Turkish Cuisine such as; Turkish coffee, Turkish tea, Ayran (Yogurt drink), Turkish delight (Lokum), Baklava, Revani, Gyros (Doner), Stuffed Meatballs (Icli kofte), Kofta, Chee kufta, Kavurma, Adana kebab, Manti, Gozleme, Grape leaves (Sarma), Kısır, Kumpir, Pogaca, Turkish Butter Cookie, Turkish Salty Cookie, Sigara Boregi (cigar shaped pastry) and Easy water pastry (Su boregi).
