When a child enters foster care, they often come with little to no essential items, such as toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, brush, underwear, socks, shirts, pants, more than one pair of shoes, and just everyday necessities.
UMO's Love Luggage Program wants to provide these items to children entering the foster care system, in the form of a Love Luggage, the charity's first outreach program, ready to take as they head off to their new homes.
UMO, Inc.’s mission is to inspire, promote and empower individuals and communities by equipping them with knowledge, training and resources to improve their lives. UMO, Inc. can’t do this alone, which is why their goal is to link up with local and national partners who are also dedicated towards improving the lives of those who have forgotten or never knew that they Matter.
Founded in 2009, UMatter Organization, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to assist local communities (Polk, Orange, and Osceola County) with underprivileged youth and families. UMO, Inc. is dedicated to developing outreach programs that will enable individuals and groups to equip themselves with knowledge and skills, which will help improve their current, community and family life.
