I know Orlando has a lot of the Ataris fans. Safe to say, there are probably more fans for their older material than their newer stuff. However, on my recent trip to Chicago, I caught the Ataris’ show at the Beat Kitchen. The Ataris played “This Dairy,” “The Boys of Summer,” “So Long Astoria” and requests from the audience. The Ataris definitely got the place rockin’ with their intimate concert. The band sounded great live. Also, a mosh pit quickly formed when Kris Roe, lead singer of the Ataris, jumped off the stage and onto the floor towards the end of the show. I had a great experience seeing the Ataris live for the first time.
