Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restraurant unveiled their 9'x4' commission from Irish artist Graham Knuttel in a privata media event in their Downtown Disney location Friday November 11, 2011. This coincides with the 36th Annual Festival of the Masters taking place November 11-13 all over Downtown Disney's West Side.
The painting is based on the `1946 poem "On Raglan Road" by poet Patrick Kavanagh which was later recorded as a song by Luke Kelly, a prominent Irish folk musician. Its also meant to show the fun had in the Raglan Road bar.
