Day two of Hilton Orlando's food retreat began with an early meal in one of the hotel's many restaurants, "The Bistro." Serving a specially-made trio of not-on-the-menu breakfast items, The Bistro was a sunny friendly place to enjoy the first meal of the day.
On a rectangular white ceramic dish was placed eggs benedict on top of stacked bread pudding, oatmeal souffle and rum raisin pain perdu. We weren't crazy about the souffle or the perdu, but the benedict was lovely. Many of the ingredients in this restaurant are sourced locally. Trying the breakfast buffet is a good idea because it has your more traditional breakfast offerings (and adorable mouse-size bottles of hot sauce).
Full disclosure: entire weekend paid for by Hilton Orlando.
