On Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10am there will be a SunRail Groundbreaking at the Altamonte Springs Station, Altamonte Drive (S.R. 436) and Ronald Reagan Boulevard.
Mayor Buddy Dyer will join with elected officials, the Florida Department of Transportation, community leaders and Central Florida residents for the SunRail groundbreaking.
The SunRail, Central Florida’s first commuter rail line, will provide an alternative to congested roadways and rising gas prices while also creating 250,000 construction and operation jobs and 8.8 billion dollars in economic impact over the next thirty years.
