Ace Metric Cycles is one of Central Florida's leading bike shops. The store specializes in fixed gear and single speed bicycles. The former home on New England Avenue in Winter Park though was surrounded mostly by brick streets that are difficult to ride on with a road bike. The location also was near some other shops and restaurants but not necessarily those with the same type of clientele as Ace which has a steady stream of hip young people. The shop recently moved to 1844 E Winter Park Rd Suite A, Orlando. Formerly the shop has moved around some but had always stayed within the city limits of Winter Park. The new location which shares a parking lot with Stardust is the former space of Death by Pop. This location puts Ace near other businesses, such as Stardust and Taps by Scratch, that target similar clientele.
