Fashion Square Mall Renderings Include a Hotel

Orlando Fashion Square Mall, home to the city's oldest and largest food truck event, The Food Truck Bazaar, on Colonial Drive is getting transformed by Up Development. The mall we all drove by day after day is gearing up for a total overhaul. Here's a few things they're working on. More is in the works.

New stuff:
  • Up Development is working with Starwoods and their Element Brand. The Hotel Lobby will include Retail Space on the 1st floor. Hotel rooms will start on the 2nd floor with a spectacular roof-top pool on the top level.
  • BJ's Brew House will be adjacent to the lobby/entrance
  • The opposite side will include a Panera Bread
  • Other Potential Tenants are: Long Horn & Outback Steak House, Olive Garden's, Carraba's and Red Robin

Stuff that's staying:
  • UP Development renewed anchor tenants JCPenney, whose term was set to expire next month, and Dillard's, which added another five years to its lease. Macy's is on an existing long-term lease and Zales is in negotiations to renew its lease.
