Wine-Infused Popcorn Isn't What You Think It Is

Wine-infused popcorn sounds like the best snack ever. Populence popcorn bar in New York City makes it, but don't think you can down a bowl of this salty snack food and get drunk. According to Kim Crawford Wine’s global marketing director, the company that makes the popcorn, Populence does a good job at getting the wine's flavor into the popcorn. Well, yay. Does it get you drunk? No. Boo. And this stuff is twenty-eight damn dollars ($35 online). Take a look at their Sauvignon Blanc Kettle. If you order some, invite me over. You eat the corn, I'll bring the vodka.
