On Sunday the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) safely and efficiently connected more than 21,500 passengers to and from the Orlando Citrus Bowl.
At any point Sunday afternoon and early evening, more than 45 multi-colored LYNX buses traveled downtown Orlando filled with purple clad revelers attending the inaugural Orlando City Soccer Club match.
The additional service was courtesy of the City of Orlando and the Lions. With parking sold out, the plan was to provide an easy and world-class public transit traveling experience for the thousands of fans celebrating the arrival of Orlando’s newest professional sports franchise.
Additionally, players and coaches traveled to their historic match on the public transit system in a LYNX bus wrapped with a special Lions design.
