Sentinel Stops Printing Its Own Newspaper



Starting in September, Orlando Sentinel will no longer print its own newspaper. A company called Gatehouse Media (Website) will print it at their Daytona and Lakeland plants then send it to Sentinel Central Florida distributions centers. 115 positions will be eliminated and the downtown printing building will shutter. Gatehouse Media publishes 130 daily newspapers and 600 community publications.
