An 8-story, 155 room franchise hotel called Cambria Suites will be built at 170 E. Washington Street (MAP) just across Magnolia from Lake Eola Park. The hotel will have 78 parking spaces, ground floor restaurant, amenity deck, rooftop lounge and other associated ancillary uses. The project is getting a Courtesy Review by the City of Orlando Appearance Review Board August 17th.
The public space will be filled with outdoor seating, tables, umbrellas and landscaping according to the project overview. The building will be topped with a roof deck that includes a bar with a view of Lake Eola and downtown Orlando as well.
