Artbourne Magazine (Website), published locally for 12 months featuring stories about local artists has folded. The Publisher, Jonathan Yubi, moved the New York City and says "my inexperience in financial management overwhelmed all the initial success we gained."
"After printing our 12th issue in June 2017, Artborne Magazine went on a summer hiatus as I relocated to New York City," Yubi said in an email. Artborne was unable to successfully transition after he left.
The magazine featured over 60 Central Florida artists. The magazine was never afraid to cover economic, political, and social issues as well.
Yubi went on, "I've witnessed what Orlando has become in the last four years, and I'm hopeful it will continue growing. Always remember that every ending is a new beginning."
