Bootleg Broadway Hairspray
Marc Shaiman, composer of Hairspray, publicly flogged the artistic director of a theatre in California that did a production of Hairpray last year for donating $1,000 in support of Prop 8, a measure that calls for the banning of gay marriages. Shaiman is gay, asked the director why he supported it, then asked the readers of this forwarded email (I assume it's an email) to contac the director and ask him, too. Wow.
