She's bringing it back to Orlando for a one-night-only performance Saturday, June 12, 2010, 8pm, at the parliament House's Footlight Theatre. With the able assistance of popular Orlando playwright John Ryan, Klein switches up the lyrics of many popular Broadway songs to perform broad parodies which reflect her fictional (yet not so fictional) life as a “Gay Bar Star.” References to her real life appearances at Sleuth’s Mystery Dinner Shows and to her real life role as mother to son Sage, as well as many other local references, figure heavily into a show that is not only extremely well sung, but is also downright hysterical in content.
