As the sad news that World of Decor's amazing liquidation store found along Orlando Ave begins to finally sink in as their "final weeks" signs turns into "final days" ones there does seem to be a ray of good news for this iconic set of buildings along the road. The smallest of the three buildings that has housed a number of different WoD services over the years including florist and home decor center will now be the first and only Central Florida location of Performance Bicycle. Performance Bike began in 1992 and has quickly grown into a leading national retailer now with over 100 stores. The company now has Florida targeted as their next state to move into. Five stores are planned for the next few months in Florida. Besides Winter Park Performance Bicycle locations are planned for Tampa, Boca Raton, Jacksonville, and Fort Lauderdale.
