Also on display this month at the Jeanine Taylor Folk Art Gallery will be the 2013 collection by Theresa Disney who has spent the last six months in and out of the hospital and a wheelchair while undergoing chemotherapy. Her work is a fun celebration of life with bold colors and quirky characters.
The monthly art
walks take place from 6-9pm on the fourth Friday in a pedestrian friendly shopping
corridor in downtown Sanford, Florida. Enhanced by live music venues, wine bars, and award winning
restaurants, the event is blocks from the scenic RiverWalk promenade along the St. Johns
River. Admission is free.
The event features Central Florida's only monthly juried art show with both a "Best in Show" award chosen by a panel of judges and a "People's Choice" award chosen by the attendees of the show.
