Bob Carr Performing Arts Center Will Not Be Demolished

According to the Orlando Business Journal, developer Craig Ustler told attendees at the Creative Village Coffee Talk Wednesday morning that the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center will not be demolished, but repurposed. The decision has not been made as to what this building will be re-used for, but Ustler said one idea was a gaming studio. The developer says he wants to keep the "guts" of the building, which, from what we can tell, are a bunch of chairs nailed to the floor, the stage and a balcony with more chairs nailed to the floor.
