Uptown Art Expo at Cranes Roost Park at Uptown Altamonte March 28-29th, 2015

The Uptown Art Expo is Saturday & Sunday, March 28-29th, 2015. The streets along beautiful Cranes Roost Park at Uptown Altamonte will come alive with artisans showcasing their talents, color and music.

150 art & fine crafts and exhibits will be showcased on Saturday & Sunday, March 28-29th, 2015 during the 4th annual Uptown Art Expo along Cranes Roost Boulevard, in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

Expo Hours: Saturday 10am-8:30pm, Sunday 10am-5pm

The FREE ADMISSION art festival will feature artist displays of jewelry, glass, fine crafts, mosaics, paintings, photography, pottery and sculpture available for purchase. The juried displays will be judged for cash prizes and ribbons.

Visitors can experience the awe in artwork being created before their eyes in the Chalk Street Painting competition as Cranes Roost Park is turned into a “Canvas” with mesmerizing chalk masterpieces by experienced street painters.

There will be International Street cuisine and good old-fashioned festival foods offered for hungry festival attendees along with craft beer and wines. Also, children activities, street performer entertainment and live music performances on the Eddie Rose Amphitheatre. Music performers include: Saturday - smooth jazz with the Robert Harris Group. Sunday - Loria Brothers - acoustic rock and The Propellers - old school soul classics 50’s, 60’s & 70’s.

The Expo is organized to bring art and music together and enhance the quality of life in Central Florida in ways that only come from art. Uptown Art Expo is presented by Fox 35, My 65 and sponsored by TD Bank, GEICO, Orlando Magazine, Magic 107, WMFE 90.7.

Celebrate Art & Music all weekend long, central Florida art lovers are invited to enjoy the free festivities along Cranes Roost Park. Guests are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the free concerts on the Eddie Rose Amphitheatre. Free parking is available in the Altamonte Mall parking lot. Please no pets, tents, coolers, bottles or alcoholic beverages can be brought into the Expo site.
