23 Orlando Disney IT Workers Claim Discrimination Based on National Origin

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission received complaints from 23 Disney IT employees, all based in Orlando, due to national origin discrimination, according to Computer World
"National origin discrimination involves treating people (applicants or employees) unfavorably because they are from or married to someone from a particular country or part of the world, because of ethnicity or accent, or because they appear to be of a certain ethnic background (even if they are not)." They were terminated January 30th. Their positions were filled using IT service contractors' workers, most of which come from India.

The 23 IT employees claim Disney is also in violation of the discrimination laws in Florida.
